A few items washed up in wartime
A Sea Otter Seaplane from RAF Portreath lands in Port Isaac harbour after engine trouble. A Paravane (cable cutting apparatus) was washed up at Port Isaac and was placed on the main, Port Gaverne where it soon became a great favourite with local children as they scrambled all over it.
