Bill Platt and Mrs Provis’ radio
Dennis: Oh yes, Brian Nicholls’ Gran had a radio, she give it to Bill Platt to mend for her. He said ‘oh Yes Mrs Provis ( Brian’s Gran had a very harsh voice, bit like me) anyway she said to Bill Platt ‘ how’s the radio’,’ oh coming on fine Mrs Provis, just waiting for a couple of parts’ and this went on for about three months. Gran Provis was in somebody’s house and there was her bleddy radio. Oh she ‘said you got a nice radio’, oh yes ‘she said I just bought it off Mr Platt’.
