Port Isaac Heritage - everybody has a story to tell about their life

Corporal 7890 Francis Shrimpton served in the Federated Malay States Volunteer Force. He died 13th February 1942 aged 29. He has no known grave but was killed in the fighting for Singapore, which fell two days later. He is commemorated at Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore. He was the son of Robert J. Shrimpton and Marian Shrimpton, of Port Isaac.
