Jim Lobb

Private 5445354 Jim Lobb was in the 2nd Battalion Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry. He died 7th May 1943 aged 22 when he was killed by a sniper at Tunis in the final days of the Tunisian Campaign. He is commemorated at Medjez-El-Bab memorial in Tunisia. He was the son of William John Lobb, and of Lizzie D. Lobb, of Port Isaac.
