John Noel Carter
Flight Sergeant Navigator 576283 John Noel Carter was in 9 Squadron Royal Air Force, and he died 22nd March 1944 aged 21 when his plane was shot down over Germany. He is commemorated at Rheinberg war cemetery. He is not on our War Memorial. He is the son of Frederick Joseph and Gwendoline Carter, of Port Isaac.
