The War reaches Port Isaac!
A Sea Plane that came into Port Isaac Harbour due to engine trouble.
It was always referred to as a Walrus Sea Plane but it is actually the longer range version of the Walrus known as the Sea Otter. Sea Otters first entered service in November 1943 with 277 Squadron, which had a detachment at Portreath from November 1944.
