Albert Keat

Marine PLY/X 3488 Albert Keat served on HMS Dorsetshire. He died 5th April 1942 aged 21 when the ship was attacked by Japanese dive bombers 200 miles off Ceylon with the loss of 424 lives. He is commemorated on Plymouth naval memorial. He was the son Of Albert Edwin and Lilian Florence Keat, of Port Isaac.
