William Johnson Townsend

William Johnson Townsend was Chief Steward on the, MV Scottish Minstrel. He died 16th July 1940 aged 48 when the ship was torpedoed off the North Coast of Ireland with the loss of 9 crew. He is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.
